Here is the album I have been the MOST STOCKED off all summer. It came out in july by a CANADIAN ARTISTS based out of Montreal. Im countint down the days until september 10th when I can see them in my city live!'Shrines' is a release in 2012 by the electronic duo Purity Ring. For the cover and gatefold design, the band enlisted the help of their Canadian compatriot - artist and illustrator Tallulah Fontaine.

The result is an almost child-like feel but against the black background, holds something darker and more sinister. I think that that's a wonderful comparison to the music that Purity Ring makes: the music is dark, swirling and sometimes in loops, but the processed vocals of Megan James comes across as child-like and ghostly.
